Shuffler’s Den Code of Conduct
Player conduct and respect
Be respectful: Treat all players and staff with kindness, regardless of experience or background.
Prohibit discrimination: Do not engage in racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any other form of discrimination or harassment.
Respect privacy: Do not violate the personal privacy of others.
Encourage allies: Stand up for others and report inappropriate behavior to a judge or staff member.
Be mindful of language: Avoid excessive noise, screaming, or using vulgarity.
Practice good hygiene: Maintain good personal hygiene to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone.
Game and competition rules
Play fair: Cheating, game sabotage, and fraudulent behavior are strictly prohibited.
Follow rules: Adhere to the official rules of the game, as well as any specific event and store rules. Authentic and or official cards must be used when playing official events / tournaments at Shuffler’s Den.
Be helpful, not condescending: If another player makes a mistake or asks for help, offer it politely instead of being dismissive or condescending.
Respect boundaries: If a player doesn't want to discuss topics outside of the game, respect their wishes and focus on the game.
Store environment
Keep it clean: Pick up after yourself and keep the game space clean and tidy.
Keep personal items contained: Do not block aisles or walkways with bags or other gear.
No unauthorized selling: The store should be a place for playing and trading, not a marketplace. Selling cards for money is against the rules and fairness of the store in which you play, even if a price was agreed upon beforehand.
Priority Seating: Store tournaments and events have priority when it comes to seating and availability. Players are not allowed to reserve or hold seating without the permission from store staff members in advance.
Consequences for violations
Players or customers may be asked to leave the store / property or may be disqualified from a tournament or event if conduct is in violation of our code of conduct.
